Celebrating Trike Patrol’s 20th Anniversary: Twenty Years of Adventure, Chaos, and Unforgettable Memories
Well, this is weird.
Sixteen years after I walked away from Trike Patrol, the new owners tracked me down and asked if I would write something for the Trike Patrol 20th Anniversary.
My first thought was, “That thing is still going?”
My second thought was, “Of course it is.”
Because Trike Patrol was never normal.
How The Trike Patrol Story Began
Back in 2006, Bruce Hammer and I were young, cocky, half crazy, and armed with a camcorder. We were rolling around Angeles City in a trike, hanging the camera out the side and looking for adventure or trouble. Usually both.
There was no business plan. There were no marketing meetings, analytics reports, compliance departments, or social media experts telling us what audiences supposedly wanted.
We had a trike, a camera, a few questionable ideas, and enough confidence to believe the world needed to see what we were doing.
It probably did not.
But people watched anyway.
And then they kept watching.
What Made Trike Patrol Different
That was the magic of Trike Patrol. You never really knew what was going to happen next. Half the time, neither did we. We would head out into Angeles City, start talking to random Filipina girls, follow the day wherever it went, and somehow come back with an update.
Sometimes we found gold.
Sometimes we found complete insanity.
Sometimes we found a girl who appeared once, vanished back into ordinary life, and was never heard from again.
That was part of the appeal. These were not always polished professional performers who had memorized their angles, rehearsed their lines, and showed up with a suitcase full of wardrobe changes. A lot of them were ordinary Filipinas having one completely extraordinary day.
Some were shy. Some were wild. Some were hilarious. Some probably regretted meeting us before the trike had even made it back around the block.
But it was real, or at least as real as anything involving me, Bruce, a camera, and a three wheeled vehicle could possibly be.
Twenty Years Of History
People have tried to describe Trike Patrol over the years. Adult site. Reality site. Travel adventure. Street pickup. Cultural documentary for degenerates.
It was probably all of those things.
Mostly, it was fun.
I left around 2010, and plenty of other guys carried the site forward after me. King Baliw, also known as KB, brought his own particular brand of madness. Then came Mr. X, Jonas, John Tron, and a parade of various other producers, performers, cameramen, editors, fixers, drivers, and poor bastards behind the scenes who helped keep the wheels turning.
Every era was different.
Every producer had his own style.
Some were smoother than others. Some were crazier than others. Some probably should not have been trusted with cash, a camera, or directions to the nearest convenience store.
But they all became part of the history.
And somehow, through all the changes, Trike Patrol remained Trike Patrol.
Why This Trike Patrol Anniversary Matters
That is the part I respect most.
Twenty years is an eternity on the internet. Most adult sites from 2006 are long gone. Some disappeared quietly. Some were bought, gutted, renamed, and turned into generic garbage. Some are probably sitting on a dead server in Romania, waiting for somebody to renew the domain.
But this ridiculous little idea we started in Angeles City is still alive.
Not only alive, it is still recognizable.
The cameras got better. The website got better. The business became more professional. The girls changed. The city changed. The audience changed. The whole industry changed.
But the personality survived.
There is still that feeling of adventure. That sense that the next update might introduce somebody completely unexpected. That mixture of humor, excitement, chaos, curiosity, and Filipino charm that made the site different in the first place.
The Trike Patrol 20th Anniversary Lineup
For the Trike Patrol 20th Anniversary, the owners decided to bring back three Filipina American pornstars who have all appeared on Trike Patrol before: Krystal Davis, Ember Snow, and Jada Kai.
That is a hell of a lineup.
Krystal is a confident MILF performer who proves that experience and confidence never go out of style.
Ember Snow and Jada Kai are both well known performers who have built successful careers far beyond the streets where this crazy operation began.
Seeing the site go from unknown amateur Filipinas who might appear once and disappear forever to established Filipina American stars is a pretty good summary of the past twenty years.
Trike Patrol grew up.
Well, sort of.
It got older, at least.
Whether it actually grew up is still open to debate.
The Legacy
When Bruce and I filmed those first updates, I never imagined anybody would be writing about them twenty years later. I certainly never imagined I would be the one asked to come back and write the anniversary message.
I figured Trike Patrol would either make us rich, get us killed, get us deported, or collapse under the weight of its own stupidity.
Instead, it became something with history.
It became a recognizable name, a collection of thousands of moments, and a record of a particular place and time that nobody else captured quite the same way.
It outlasted trends, competitors, technology shifts, ownership changes, and probably more than a few people who predicted it would never survive.
That is something worth celebrating.
Happy 20th Anniversary
So, to the new owners, thank you for keeping the site alive and for inviting old J Reg back for one more special contribution.
To KB, Jonas, John Tron, and everyone else who kept the trike moving after I climbed out, respect.
To all the girls who took the ride, whether they became stars or were never seen again, you are the reason anybody cared.
And to the members who have been watching since the early days, seriously, you people are still here?
I am impressed.
A little concerned, but impressed.
Twenty years ago, Trike Patrol began with two young idiots, a camcorder, a trike, and absolutely no idea what they were starting.
Twenty years later, it is still here.
Still original.
Still filthy.
Still funny.
Still unmistakably Trike Patrol.
Now fire up the damn trike and keep going.
